Today was national cheeseburger day so I looked up the best burgers and this was on the list.

It's in a strip mall and when you first walk in it's the old 80s diner look with yellow melanin booths.

We showed up at around 8 o'clock and there was plenty of seating and not a long wait. They cooked to order so it's fresh.

My husband ordered the classic which is a cheeseburger with pastrami in it and I ordered a Junior cheeseburger and added bacon in it.

The classic burger pastrami was cooked perfectly and the bacon in my junior cheeseburger was nice and crispy but not burnt. We added steak fries to it and it was not soggy and not burnt.

This is by far one of the best hamburgers I've had in a long time the patty was moist and whatever sauce they use for their buns is delicious.

I can't wait to come back.

Decent burger, efficient service, and a quick in and out. Solid patty and fillings.

Well price and clean spot! We'll be back.

I drove here a couple days ago to read a sign that they were closed for vacation.  Called ahead this time.  Back open today!

Yup, I can see why this place has such great ratings

Best onion rings.  The batter taste like the crunchy outer part of a corndog.  Great crunch. The fries remind me of what McDonald fries used to taste like before they tried to fry them in "healthier " oil.  Both were delicious.

The burgers.  I wanted the Classic Burger- but they were "out".  (I assume, out of pastrami). So, I had the cheese burger instead- everything on it. (Lettuce tomato pickle onions ketchup mustard mayo).  He had the bacon cheese burger.  They were tasty.  His comment was, "It taste a little like In and Out".  Maybe.  It was good.  I do regret not  asking it I could have had my burger cooked med-rare.  I prefer a little bit of pink.

And, I recommend eating it there while it's fresh off the grill- HOT.  I live across town and was bringing food home for hubby.  I know it would have been so much better had it been eaten immediately.  Next time, we will eat there. And there will be a next time for sure.

Dinner came to about $17.  No drinks purchased.

    Came back two days later.
You can ask for medium rare.  But, my burger was cooked more than med rare. No big- still ate it.  I was able to try the Classic Burger.  Very good.  I didn't know if I was going to like The pastrami in my burger- but it worked.

Amazing. We go a couple times a month.  Burgers, fries, onion rings, shakes and philly are all yummy!  Call ahead during Busy Times. 20 min wait

How I love thee, let me count the ways.

So like many loves, you know, when it's right, you just know. It's not really something you can put your finger on because on the surface, it just seems ok, nothing special. But you're insides are going crazy and your stomach is doing all sorts of butterflies... well in this case it's your taste buds cause if you're stomach is doing that after eating, you should probably not eat more of whatever just messed you up.... But I think this is real burger love. I think my heart, beats faster just pulling up to the place, in anticipation of what's to come. Burger lover.

Anyway so the restaurant is a true mama papa burger joint. No frills, no line out the door, the epitome of underrated. You walk in and the register is just a few feet away, it's kinda what greets you next to the soda machine. You order, and then wait for your love to arrive.

If you got the mushroom burger, you're met when a soft, pale looking but good size bun, it gives easily, not much spring to it. The cheese peeks out at you and you can see, that's a good size 1/4 pound patty. You may be tempted to cut it in half, might be messy, but don't! When taking the first bit, the flavor of the mushrooms and swiss cheese greet you but it's the juicy flavorful patty that pulls you in. It's not the kind of juiciness that has you dribbling from your mouth like a teething baby. No. It's the right amount of juiciness, enough to keep your mouth salivating, but not so much that it falls to bits in your hand.

Oh no! A mushroom and some cheese escaped! It's ok. Just plop that sucker back on to your patty and bun and all is right in the world.

So. That was my experience. So far I've had the mushroom burger and a cheeseburger. My meal buddies have had the classic burger but said the description of the burger vs. what you're met with was underwhelming because the pastrami is scarce. I'm a big mushroom burger fan and make it a point to try this a any burger joint I go to. Although each time I bite into their mushroom burger my first thought is "should have asked for extra mushrooms," somehow by the end, I always find myself saying that it was all the way right and had perfect ratios of mushroom, cheese and meat.
